University Success 1001
We encourage all incoming students to enroll in University Success 1001 (UNIV), a one-credit freshman seminar course that provides valuable information about how to be a successful college student. In a small classroom setting, UNIV 1001 covers topics including time management, note taking, test taking, learning styles, and communicating with faculty and other University members. UNIV 1001 includes a New Orleans culture section and a service-learning component so students have the opportunity to participate in rediscovering and rebuilding New Orleans and the surrounding areas.
